Position Overview: The Retail Stock Lead will oversee the management of inventory, ensuring that our retail store is well-stocked, organized, and efficient. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills to support the retail team in delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:

    • Receive, unpack, and organize incoming merchandise.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
    • Manage stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products.
  • Leadership:

    • Supervise and train stock associates on inventory procedures and best practices.
    • Coordinate with the retail team to optimize store layout and product placement.
    • Lead by example, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operational Support:

    • Collaborate with the retail manager to develop and implement inventory control strategies.
    • Assist in preparing for sales events and promotions, ensuring adequate stock availability.
    • Handle customer inquiries and resolve stock-related issues promptly.
  • Quality Control:

    • Inspect merchandise for defects and discrepancies, reporting any issues to management.
    • Ensure all products are accurately priced and labeled.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience in retail stock management or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
